Over 40 Years Experience.
Mr. Kassman began his early piano service career as an apprentice under Baldwin’s Chief trouble-shooter, Melvin Waddle. At the time, Baldwin owned the famed German piano company C.Bechstein, and Kassman received extensive training in both American and European service techniques. Baldwin also had a manufacturing relationship with Kawai (Japan), who was then building its Howard product, and Kassman had the benefit of early experience with Japanese piano construction.
Over the next 40 years, Kassman attended and taught piano technical seminars, has written several technical piano service manuals for manufacturers, and has been a consultant to author Larry Fine, publisher of the “Piano Book / Piano Buyer.com”
